We couldn't ask for better weather for tree planting!

On Saturday, October 22nd, volunteers from Ontario Power Generation, Nuclear Promise X, and North American Young Generation in Nuclear, Inc. (Continental) gathered at Russett Park in Oshawa, ON, for a noble cause under the banner of LEAF - Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests.

They are a non-profit organization that teaches people about trees and gets them excited about the urban forest. Their mission is to grow and sustain the urban forest by providing quality services and programs that engage communities.

Everyone who gathered had a big smile on their face. Working hard to plant trees and shrubs felt like a walk in the park. I also had a great time connecting with many professionals and industry leaders, such as Francis Davis, a senior manager at Ontario Power Generation.

These type of activities empowers my ambitions to achieve net zero carbon emissions and make a living on this planet more enjoyable.
