The Climate Hero
Hi I’m HAMZAH HADDAD
Get To Know Me
I'm a Nuclear Energy advocate, equipping myself with the knowledge of Nuclear Engineering fundamentals and Radiation Safety principles obtained by studying at Ontario Tech University and completing an internship with McMaster University - Health Physics Department. The power to fight the climate change crisis in the 21st century requires vast amounts of reliable, safe, and clean energy that the nuclear industry can supply.

Furthermore, I am an active member of the community. I constantly seek opportunities to volunteer with organizations such as North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) to develop my leadership and professional skills, gain lifelong connections, and engage and inform the public about the nuclear industry and its emerging technologies to answer any concerns they have.

I love attending conferences that discuss new nuclear technologies and raise awareness to combat climate change. I presented at the Canadian Nuclear Society (CNS) International Conference of Materials, Chemistry and Fitness-for-service Division (MCFD) in 2021 and received first place for outstanding student presentations.
